Course description

This limited-edition workshop is inspired by traditional Indian temple cuisine, where food is prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients and deep cultural significance. Pumpkin plays a central role in autumn rituals across India - symbolising abundance and warmth. We will start with a pumpkin-spiced Chai Latte, then make Poori-light, puffed fried flatbread-served with a sweet-and-sour pumpkin and black chickpea curry (Khatta Mitha Kaddoo with Kale Chane). This dish balances sweetness, acidity, and spice in a uniquely Indian way. To finish, we prepare pumpkin Kheer, a delightful, creamy pudding enriched with milk, fragrant spices, and slow-cooked pumpkin. This is a seasonal, rarely offered menu that connects food with tradition, ritual, and the rhythm of the year. The course is held in English. The instructor can also answer your questions in German. ❕ The costs for the ingredients used (10.00 Euro) are included in the course fee. These will not be refunded in case of a short-term cancellation (from the 5th day before the course starts). Schlagwörter: International
