Online Englisch B1/B2- Refresher Course during the Autumn Holidays

In this seminar we will use a broad range of media (articles, literary and non-fiction texts, videos, artworks, games, and conversations) to expand and train your English skills. We will cover a wide spectrum of interesting topics, so you'll always learn something new as you practice English. You'll build and broaden your knowledge of the English language through practical, fun exercises in a relaxed environment, with a native English speaker and Cultural Historian leading the course. You will improve your fluency, work on perfecting your pronunciation and grammar, and expand your vocabulary, while learning and engaging idiomatic turns of phrase that make your speech and writing more natural, witty and effective. B1/B2 courses generally start at a B1 level and gradually progress toward B2. The idea is that each session is like a small workshop focusing on a specific topic and skill area—for example, vocabulary or grammar. We also always try to put what we've learned into practice right away through lots of speaking activities. Kursmaterial von der Kursleitung. Zur Kursleitung: Ich bin muttersprachliche Englisch-Lehrerin mit über 25 Jahren Unterrichtserfahrung. Ich wurde am renommierten Knight Institute der Cornell University (New York) ausgebildet und habe dort anschließend in Kunst- und Kulturgeschichte promoviert. Ich bin der Meinung, dass das Erlernen einer Sprache am besten gelingt, wenn man die Materialien auch in der eigenen Muttersprache gerne lesen würde. Deshalb biete ich Kurse an, die ein breites Spektrum an Themen abdecken (von Kunst und Politik bis hin zu Wissenschaft und Technik). Meine Kurse finden online in einer entspannten Umgebung statt. Wir trainieren Wortschatz, Sprechen und Grammatik. Ich freue mich darauf, Ihnen dabei zu helfen, Ihre Englischkenntnisse zu verbessern und gleichzeitig etwas über interessante, aktuelle Themen zu lernen!
