Course description
Teaching is deeply rewarding, but it can also be demanding and emotionally taxing. Alongside the challenges of the classroom, teachers often carry stress from their personal lives into their work. This course examines the psychological and physiological processes of stress, drawing on insights from psychology, neuropsychology, and mindfulness. Participants learn strategies for responding more intentionally and be free from automatic stress responses while focusing on developing skills that support well-being in both professional and personal context.
In addition, we will explore mindful communication practices that will foster more constructive, compassionate, and more mindful interactions with colleagues, students, and those in our personal lives.
The course combines interactive presentations, group activities and medition.
