Long-form: From Funny to Meaningful

In improvisational theatre, there is often an expectation that scenes should be fast and funny. In so doing, the story may get lost and players may feel pressure to find surface-level jokes and humour. In this class, we slow down and give characters time to develop. We focus on emotions, relationships and collaborative storytelling. The result is deep, memorable scenes that move people filled with characters whose humour comes from a place of honesty. Participants who have taken at least one improv course (English level B2). Kasia Lyjak ist Improspielerin, Yogalehrerin und Sozialarbeiterin.
