Englisch B2 - Brush up your English with literature

Enjoy literature and practice your English by discussing interesting literary texts (mostly short stories and short novels written by 20th/21st century authors) in a lively group and a relaxed atmosphere. Everybody will be free to express their ideas and to make their suggestions! You will also refresh and improve your grammar and vocabulary with special exercises. Learning objectives: Students will improve their speaking skills and understanding of the language and gain knowledge of literature and background information. Course material available from the tutor at small cost. About me: Originally an academic high school teacher (Gymnasium) of English and French, I became enthusiastic about adult education more than 25 years ago. Apart from spending several months in Washington D.C., I supplemented my professional training with various adult education teacher training courses in English speaking countries. For many years now, I’ve had the pleasure of discussing a wide range of literary texts with interested participants in my courses at the VHS Reinickendorf, combining my commitment to language teaching with my passion for literature.
